What Gather is and how it works ⚙
What is Gather? Gather is an AI-native research platform. It runs market research for you through AI-led interviews, builds grounded personas you can talk to, and turns the results into campaign-ready content — so research, insight, and content live in one place.
What kinds of research can Gather run? A single study can capture both the numbers and the “why”: brand health tracking, message and concept testing, pricing and packaging research, buyer persona and ICP work, churn and win/loss analysis, competitive intelligence, ad and creative testing, segmentation, and category research.
How do I start? Three ways in: describe your objective in plain language and Gather’s AI-Guided Setup drafts the study; drop in a prior research report and it pulls out the gaps worth re-running; or pick up a recommended project it has already queued based on your brand and past research.
How fast will I get results? Synthetic (AI) studies finish in minutes. Studies with a real Research audience typically field in about one to five days, with insights ready within hours of close.
Audience, branding, and personas 👤
How does audience targeting work? Describe who you want to hear from in plain language. You can reach a Research audience we source for you, generate Synthetic (AI) respondents, upload your own contacts, or share a link — and target grounded personas built from your past research. Switch between them per project.
Can I brand my study with my own logo and colors? Yes — every study can carry your logo, colors, fonts, and tone of voice so respondents see your brand, and studies are always free for respondents. When you’d rather keep responses unbiased, run it in Blind Mode so your brand stays hidden.
What are grounded personas? Talkable archetypes built from your real interview responses. Anyone on your team can ask one a question and get an answer grounded in your buyer data, without commissioning a new study — and their confidence tightens as more research feeds in.
Reports and deliverables 📄
What can Gather produce from a study? One study fans out into campaign-ready content in your Content Library — reports, slide decks, social cards, blog & AEO articles, and ebooks — all generated from your validated research.
What goes into a report? Gather’s AI synthesizes your interviews into a stakeholder-ready report: quantitative metrics, qualitative themes, competitive benchmarks where relevant, and recommended next steps — so you’re never starting from a blank page.
Can I customize a report? Yes — every report is fully editable. Rewrite sections, drop findings you don’t need, reorder to fit your story, and apply your brand so it looks like it came from your team.
How often should I run research? Brand health and competitive intelligence work well monthly or quarterly, ad and messaging research before a major campaign, and customer experience and churn tracking as ongoing programs.
Common questions ❓
My project isn’t getting responses. Check that it’s launched (not still in draft), that your audience and distribution are set up, and give it time — responses arrive as people engage. Revisit the Test step to make sure the interview flows.
Why don’t I see any recommendations? Recommendations improve as Gather learns about you. Complete your brand profile in Configure and run a project or two — the more context it has, the more it can suggest.
My content doesn’t match my brand. Update Visual identity and Voice & tone in My Brand, then regenerate — assets pick up brand settings at generation time.
I ran out of credits mid-project. Top up in Account & Billing and the work resumes; see the Credits article for what consumes credits and how to plan ahead.
